The founding members of PharmaSymbiosis bring with them a cumulative experience of more than 70 years of experience working with multinational pharmaceutical and diagnostics companies. The formation of the company was inspired by the increasing opportunities in the healthcare sector in Africa, as evidenced by:

Dr Charles Fordjour Agyemang

CEO

With over 21 years experience in Pharma working in various roles in Ghana, Nigeria and regional roles in SSA, Charles has a passion for healthcare in Africa.

His mission is to bridge healthcare inequalities between Africa and the developed world and to project Africa as a business opportunity. He is a Pharmacist with 21 years working experience with Roche in Ghana, Nigeria and SSA regional roles in Marketing, Sales, Country Management, Policy and Strategy Development experience.

Lanre Arokoyo

COUNTRY MANAGER NIGERIA

Lanre Arokoyo is Pharmacist, counts himself privileged to have had a 14 year career in Sales, Marketing, Market Access and Health policy, shaped by the two giant, multinational, Swiss Pharmaceutical companies,

where he gave his all and received more. A pioneer leader of the Oncology Franchise at Roche, Lanre was central to the ideation, initiation and growth of Oncology Pharmacy practice, Breast Immunohistochemistry across tertiary hospitals in Nigeria and catalysed product inclusion in the NHIS product-list. Lanre is passionate about and brings LEADERSHIP as an essential instrument in shaping healthcare practices that delivers best care to patients in Africa and in building a sustainable business.

Dr Daniel Kouakou

COUNTRY MANAGER Côte d'Ivoire

Having worked for several years in healthcare in Africa, His passion is about bringing good quality products and making them affordable in an environment where lack of money is unfortunately a sad reality.

Cancer treatments are very expensive and not affordable for most people in Africa. Having worked for Roche, He contributed to make Roche drugs free of charge for patients in Ivory Coast.
His good knowledge of cancer care systems in Ivory Coast.
His leadership, communication and sales skills been certified by John C. Maxwell, the leadership guru N°1 in the world.

Jonas M. Martey

COUNTRY MANAGER GHANA

Experienced, result driven, self-motivated registered Pharmacist with over twelve (16) years experience in Pharmaceutical sales and marketing with proven ability to develop, train and strengthen teams to achieve corporate objectives.

I have trained more than 70 Medical Representatives in various disease areas including Cardiovascular, Gastroenterology, Metabolic - Endocrine, Respiratory, Oncology as well as many Pharmaceutical Branded products.

I am an experienced and goal-oriented professional with a demonstrated track record of creating valuable solutions in complex commercial operations in the pharmaceutical industry, in Sales and Marketing as well as Commercial Excellence for the ultimate benefit of the patients.

I have proven cross-functional expertise in stakeholder management, driving efficiency and productivity by setting and tracking KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) with the commercial teams to drive business solutions in integrated commercial strategic plans

Keletso Otsile George

COUNTRY MANAGER BOTSWANA

An assiduous individual who is committed to delivering quality results. A business leader with extensive commercial experience across the African continent.
With over ten years experience in the Pharmaceutical industry,

I have led and managed the development and execution of strategies for geographic and market expansion in Africa with key achievements being; product launches, supply chain optimization, portfolio optimization, development of operating models, devising remuneration and incentive policies, contract management, pricing policies, developing key accounts strategies and implementing CRM systems.
I hold an MSc in Strategic Management, a BSc (Hons) in Neuroscience, as well as a PRINCE 2 Project Management Practitioner certification.


Minnie Wanja Gitau

Program Manager with experience in the design, planning, implementation, and monitoring and evaluation of donor-funded programs/projects. Experienced in public health programming and the development of private sector engagement strategies in the health sector.
